Josh Brown (the Reformed Borker, Bork Bork Bork) has been putting the boots to the mutual fund industry for years now.
ReplyDeleteJust start an investment account and buy index ETFs and you do better than any mutual fund.
I know when I was a poor pleb with BMO, they had three good funds: BMO Dividend, BMO Resource, and BMO Monthly Income. All the rest that they offered were garbage.
They actually had a China fund that literally did worse than FXI.
I'm trying to convince my retired sister to fire her idiot financial planner and just buy ETFs.
